1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern relationships between the YAMAN SOUND operator identified at the top of this page and customers or other persons who order goods or services from YAMAN SOUND, rent equipment or enter into another agreement with YAMAN SOUND.
YAMAN SOUND is primarily involved in music events and promotion, YAMAN Recordings, equipment rental, merchandise and related production and creative activities.
Where a particular service is supplied or sold by another entity, such as a ticketing platform or venue operator, that part of the relationship is also subject to that provider’s terms.
2. Website information and formation of contracts
Information on yamansound.eu, including equipment listings, photographs, availability, indicative prices and information about future services, does not itself constitute a binding reservation unless explicitly stated otherwise.
A contract or binding reservation is created only in the manner agreed for the relevant service, for example by written confirmation from YAMAN SOUND, payment of a required amount or completion of an order through the relevant sales or ticketing platform.
Customers must provide accurate and complete information needed to process an order or service.
3. Music and cultural events
Programme, line-up, timing and venue information reflects the current production plan. Timings, the running order or parts of the programme may change for organisational, technical, safety or other serious reasons.
A programme change that does not alter the essential nature of the event does not automatically create a right to a refund. Any rights that cannot legally be restricted remain unaffected.
Visitors must comply with venue rules, organiser and security instructions and must not endanger other visitors, performers or property. A person who seriously breaches these rules or threatens safety may, to the extent permitted by law, be refused entry or removed from the event.
4. Tickets
Tickets may be sold directly or through external ticketing services. Where an external platform is used, the purchase, payment process, ticket delivery and any refund are also governed by that platform’s terms.
Customers are responsible for protecting electronic tickets against copying or unauthorised use. Where a ticket is valid for one entry only, it may be treated as used after the first successful validation.
For tickets to cultural or other leisure activities scheduled for a specific date, the statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract generally does not apply. If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, the applicable law, the terms of the particular ticket sale and, where relevant, the ticketing platform’s terms apply.
5. Cancellation or rescheduling of events
If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, YAMAN SOUND will publish or arrange publication of information about the next steps through an appropriate channel, such as the website, social media, email or the ticketing platform.
The scope and method of any refund will depend on applicable law, the circumstances of the particular event and the terms under which the ticket was sold.
6. YAMAN Rental
YAMAN SOUND may offer rental of DJ equipment, sound systems, lighting, accessories and other equipment.
The Rental page is primarily a catalogue. Availability and pricing are confirmed individually depending on date, rental duration, equipment scope, transport, installation and other requirements.
Before a rental is confirmed, the parties may agree in particular on:
- exact equipment and quantities,
- rental period,
- price and payment terms,
- deposit or security deposit,
- handover and return location and time,
- transport, installation or operation,
- responsibility for damage, loss or theft,
- any additional individual terms.
The renter must use the equipment properly, for its intended purpose and in accordance with safety instructions, protect it from damage, loss, theft, moisture and unsuitable conditions, and must not sub-rent it to a third party without prior agreement.
Equipment condition may be recorded on handover and return by a handover report, photographs or another reasonable method. Any defect, damage, loss or theft must be reported without undue delay.
Liability for damage and any compensation is determined by the individual agreement and applicable law. Additional charges, for example for late return, may be charged only where agreed in advance or provided for by law.
7. Merchandise and goods
Where YAMAN SOUND sells merchandise or other goods at a distance, the customer is informed before completing the order about the price, payment method, any shipping costs and other material terms.
Consumers purchasing at a distance have a statutory right to withdraw within the period provided by law, typically 14 days after receiving the goods, unless a statutory exception applies. This right does not automatically apply to an ordinary in-person purchase made at an event.
Goods made or modified to the customer’s individual specifications may fall within a statutory exception to the withdrawal right.
Statutory rights relating to defective performance and complaints remain unaffected by these Terms.
8. Prices and payments
Unless stated otherwise, price and payment terms are determined by the specific offer, confirmed order, agreement or ticketing platform.
For individual services or rentals, YAMAN SOUND may require a reasonable advance payment or security deposit where this is communicated before the contract is formed.
9. Complaints and defects
If a service or product does not correspond to the agreed terms, the customer should contact YAMAN SOUND without undue delay and describe the issue sufficiently for it to be verified and resolved.
Complaints may be sent to the contact email shown at the top of this page. Handling of complaints is governed by applicable law and the nature of the particular performance.
10. Liability
YAMAN SOUND is liable for breaches of its obligations to the extent provided by applicable law and the relevant agreement.
YAMAN SOUND is not liable for damage caused by a customer or third party through improper, unqualified or unsafe use of rented equipment, breach of instructions or use in conditions for which the equipment is not designed, unless YAMAN SOUND is liable for such damage under mandatory law.
Independent third-party services, such as external ticketing, transport or venue services, are the responsibility of the relevant provider within its legal relationship with the customer.
11. Copyright and website content
YAMAN SOUND logos, graphics, photographs, videos, artwork, text and other content may be protected by copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
Content may not be commercially copied, sold, represented as one’s own or otherwise used beyond what is permitted by law without the rights holder’s permission.
12. Photography and video at events
Photographs and audiovisual recordings may be created at events for documentation, archive and promotion of YAMAN SOUND and related projects. Their creation and use are subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

14. Alternative dispute resolution
Where the operator acts as a seller towards a consumer under Czech consumer law, a consumer who has been unable to resolve a dispute directly with YAMAN SOUND may use an alternative dispute resolution procedure. For ordinary consumer disputes, the competent body will generally be the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI); information is also available at adr.coi.cz.
This does not affect the right to bring a claim before a court.
15. Governing law and final provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic unless mandatory law provides otherwise. For consumers, this does not limit rights granted by mandatory rules of applicable law.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
YAMAN SOUND may reasonably update these Terms, particularly when services or legal requirements change. A contract already entered into is governed by the version applicable when that contract was formed unless otherwise validly agreed.
